Inspired by Pinterest…

This week’s challenge #83 by the Colour INKspiration team on Facebook was just too beautiful to miss out on! Basic Black (I managed to squeeze the tiniest little Black in), Bumblebee, Whisper White and Mossy Meadow were the colours for the challenge and I love them all!

This would be my perfect room!

For the background I used one of the Basic Pattern Decorative masks and Shimmery White Embossing paste (tinted with Mossy Meadow ink) on Whisper White thick cardstock… I love it! What a shimmery, tactile experience! The flowers and leaves from the All Things Fabulous stamp set was stamped on Crumbcake cardstock in Bumblebee and Mossy Meadow ink. I added clear embossing powder to the centers of the flowers to add shine to the flowers also.

In my craft room I keep a tiny storage container filled with off cuts and watercolour remnants from previous creative projects and I always scratch around in there for tiny pieces of card, foil, etc that can be used on my newest project. The foil accents on this project was an embossed piece (embossed with the Dainty Diamond embossing folder) that I die cut with the decorative border from the Fabulous Florals Dies as well as the tiny leave accents from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies. This adds even more texture and also a bit off a weathered look (who wouldn’t be weathered when pushed through the Bigshot twice)!

I couldn’t decide where to go with my sentiment (from the Posted for You stamp set)?? I didn’t want the sentiment to take away from the Rose , so decided on the side (in Basic Black) will do the trick. The card was finished off with the really stunning Gilded Gems.

That is it for now! In Perth we are looking forward to a very rainy weekend. Hubby and I will have to brave the weather on Saturday for a work friends Art Exhibition and Sunday we will most probably stay inside and watch a family movie or play a board game or two… What do you have planned this weekend?

Stay safe! I will see you soon!
