With both kids being schooled online, it can get a little tough time wise around here! Last week and the week before Chris (Year 9) had to sit his OLNA tests as a result of the Year 9 NAPLAN tests being cancelled (do I have to say due to Covid?) – long story short we had to drive in to the campus both days and that meant no card making time for me and so on and so forth… With a full week without interruptions ahead (fingers crossed) I was so happy to create a very simple but beautiful birthday card for a beautiful friend. Apologies for the photos, the sun kept on hiding behind the clouds this morning and I just couldn’t wait to share with you!
It is no secret that I love the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper from the Holiday catalog and I have made Christmas cards using most of the patterned paper from that pack (here and here). I think the fresh Gingham patterned paper from the same pack works beautifully for a Spring card too!
I have used the Hand-drawn Blooms stamp set ( that coordinates with the Banner Blooms dies before (have a look here) and I have to say this Bundle (remember you get 10% discount if you buy the bundle!) makes it really easy to create beautiful (and fast) cards.
I hope I have inspired you to create a card today!
See you next time! Remember to stay safe!
