My favorite cards to make are most probably Thank You cards but it is always good to have a few cards in your stash that you can use for any celebration. The stunning Hand-drawn Blooms Bundle is the perfect floral bouquet to say sorry with, wish someone a happy birthday or just cheer someone up!
I also decided to create a card for the TGIF challenge for this week! This week is a designer challenge!

I used the Watercolor Smooshing Technique (many tutorials on YouTube) to add color to the card before die cutting the floral piece from the set. Mango Melody, Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green were my chosen colors. These are the pieces I started with:

I glued the DSP paper to my card front using Stampin’ Seal and then, using the Multi Purpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the frame slightly skew onto my card front. Before adding dimensionals to the back of the die cut piece (where space allowed) I heat embossed the sentiment in White embossing powder and then ‘fitted’ the die cut piece inside the frame on my card front. A few sequins from the Artistry Blooms Sequins was enough to add sparkle.
My Supply List
The beautiful Artistry Blooms Suite can be seen on page 130 of Stampin’ Up!’s Annual catalog and you save so much by purchasing the suite! If you have any questions about my card, the products or joining The Very Mellow Stampers drop me a note or leave a comment and I will get back to you ASAP!
Until next time!
