I have had my eye on the Fancy Phrases cling stamp set for a while now and finally, after waiting for the Postman for (what felt like ages), it arrived! This set doesn’t include a die set but lucky for me I love fussy cutting! I also decided to enter this card for this week’s Global Design Project theme challenge! The theme is:
Although we do not celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, I simply love the idea and I feel so inspired by all the Fall and Thanksgiving cards and projects I see on my social media feed.
The floral images from the Fancy Phrases stamp set is so easy to color! I used the fine tip Water Painter with a few warm tone inks (see my Supply List) to paint the images. You might want to use Blender Pens or the Watercolor Pencils. To add more interest to my
Crumb Cake card base, I stamped the images with Versamark ink for a tone-on-tone finish. The very beautiful sentiment was heat embossed in White.
