I have a big confession to make! I love Autumn and Winter! More than I love summer! In Western Australia we are blessed with wonderful, bathing suit weather for a big chunk of the year – our Winter is rainy… very rainy… And I love that! For the most part we try to be water wise in WA so when Winter comes with the rain it means beautiful, lush green gardens without any effort. That is just how our native plants work. Winter also means hot tea and slow cooker meals. Perfect for the lazy cook!
Today’s card was inspired by a CASE the Designer challenge over at Global Design Project and as always it was a stunner!
The postman delivered some new Stampin’ Up! goodies last week and I couldn’t wait to start creating! I used the stunning NEW Sweat as a Peach Bundle, the NEW Many Happenings stamp and the NEW Thanks & Hello embossing folder to create my card for the challenge. Because I wanted to start with a soft Balmy Blue watercolour background I used Shimmery White cardstock.
