I am writing this post in between my daughter’s dance exams. This morning it was Jazz and in a couple of hours’ time it will be Hip Hop! And as wet and wild weather seems to be the norm this winter, I am craving a little sunshine today…
My sketch inspiration comes from this week’s Global Design Project challenge, #gdp302.

I really had fun creating today’s card! It started with the striped patterned paper from the You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper pack – the Calypso Coral watercolour stripes reminded me of striped beach towels and coral! I pulled in the Shaded Summer stamp set for the sentiment and used a pot from the Plentiful Plants Bundle for a sand bucket. The beach sand was created with a background stamp from the upcoming Nature’s Harvest stamp set (available 3 August 2021). The Timeworn Type #D Embossing Folder will also be part of the upcoming Harvest Meadow Suite and I used it to add interest to the Basic White card base.
