Christmas Greetings

I think I am well and truly ready to create for Christmas! It feels like I have only touched the tip of the iceberg as far as the Mini Catalogue is concerned! I might have mentioned previously that I am very much a traditional girl – Red and Green all the way! This month’s @stampinfancyfriday colour combo challenge is pretty much my go to Christmas colour combination most years!

Pretty much perfect!

I have tried to change it up with Gold and Red, or Silver and Gold or White and Silver… many times! This year will no doubt be the same!

I love to create backgrounds with the greetings in a stamp set – the playful Christmas Greetings sentiment was perfect for a bit of ”’watercolour stamping”.

How to watercolour stamp?

Add ink to a stamp block and then use a Water Painter (not too wet) to apply ink to the stamp. Easy and a lot of fun!

Create cute Holly Berry embellishments with the Stockings Dies. I used a fine tip glue pen to add a little shine to the berries.

I also created this card with the same colour combination…

The snowflake textures was created with a texture plate from the Snow Time Dies. You might already have this one – an oldie but a goodie!

I had so much fun with the Picture This Dies! Use the peek-a-boo frames or use the rectangles and circles!

The possibilities are endless!

That is it from me – for now! Thank you so much for popping by!

Take care!
