A quick life update before I share two cute cards with your…

The kids and I have recently moved house (we are in week three of living in our new home). It is still pretty much chaos around us but we are slowly getting used to what is our new life. The kids living between two homes and myself getting used to a much smaller place. With that said, let’s move on to some card making!

This past weekend we celebrated World Card Making Day 2024 with a virtual Stampin’ Up! Event. Sara (Stampin’ Up!’s CEO) used the Mix & Match range to make four amazing cards with us! You can watch the video on Stampin’ Up!’s YouTube channel. Of course I wasn’t able to find all of the Mix & Match products in my stash (most of my products are still packed in boxes) but I got together what I could and came up with these two cards…

Yes my clouds are Yellow! I created them by altering one of the labels included In the Labels & Layers Ephemera Pack. The Iridescent Rhinestones have been retired but I love them and will embellish with them as long as my stash last.
Pool party and a rainbow just works so well together!

I added a tone-on-tone background to both card bases to ground the scenes. I used a very old and long retired stamp set for my background…

…but I would suggest the following Online Exclusive stamp set as a replacement…
