Sending positive thoughts and a little something for you…

Hello fellow Stampers!

At first I was a little fearful of Stampin’ Up!’s In-color, Magenta Madness. Talk about adding a ‘pop of Pink’, this one added a ‘bang!’ too! It is so bright and full of cheer and that is exactly what I needed for this set that I created for my next door neighbor (really?, without the u?). On her birthday, she had a nasty fall, so bad that she had to spent some time in hospital.

I started with a Thick Whisper White card base. Then I added ink splatters (Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana and Mossy Meadow) to my background layer, before embossing with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder. After stamping the flower and the leaves from the Tasteful Touches Stamp set, I fussy cut the images. I also used the leaves stamp from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (the coordinating die is from the Nature’s Thoughts Die set) to add more Greenery to my card front. The sentiment was heat embossed in White onto a stitched circle (I used the Coastal Cabana woodgrain finish from the Brights pack). To anchor my sentiment and cut out images, I die cut the border from the Fabulous Florals die set from Vellum. Even though very subtle, it did the trick!

For the boxes I created belly bands by adding splatter to A4 Whisper White card stock and the stamped the flower image in Magenta Madness. The belly band for the pizza box measures 8cm in width and the belly band for the tiny treat box measures 4 cm in width. The labels were die cut with the Tasteful Labels dies. I used all sorts of gems to decorate my projects!

I had such a great time mixing and matching the stamp sets and dies in my stash! As I am moving in to Festive mode, I am looking forward to work on great Christmas card ideas to share with you!
