Today I’m sharing a card sketch idea with you! I would love it if you shared your card, inspired by my sketch, with me on your social media – use the tag #cardsketchtuesday. The aim will be to keep it simple!
My favorite two seasons are Autumn and Spring, however color wise I tend to lean towards the earthy colors of Autumn. Spring is in the air in Perth, Western Australia but with all the wonderful Autumn and Thanksgiving inspiration seen on social medial, I felt inspired to create a card with a warmer palette. This was also the card that inspired my sketch for today.
The color combo!
I started with a Crumb Cake card base and the sentiment was heat embossed in White on to Bumble Bee card stock. The label comes from the Tasteful Labels Die set. To balance the Calypso Coral butterfly on the right hand side, I added a border (from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies) cut from the same patterned paper as the butterfly was stamped on and Sequins from the Artistry Blooms Sequins pack to the left hand side.
