Just want to say…

I have to say these days I am for the most part at a loss for words. I find it easier to type or send a card…

The first card I share today is for a new sketch challenge over at Global Design Project .

The Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper is double sided (like most of Stampin’ Up!’s DSP’s) and features lovely florals on one side and softer patterns on the flipside. I used two of the softer patterns to create a beautiful layer on my White card base. These layers measure 8cm x 12cm. I kept the “just want to say” die cut piece (8.5cm x 8cm) in tact and layered it onto a piece of White card similar in size. I picked up Flirty Flamingo and Mossy Meadow colour from the respective ink pads with a Blender pen to colour the small floral stamp, huffed over the stamp to moisten it and stamped it before die cutting with the coordinating die. The long slim banner die and coordinating sentiment from the Many Messages Bundle worked perfectly to mimic the slim sentiment of the sketch challenge.

And just because I was on the roll, I created card number two…

I added extra texture and interest by adding Clear heat embossing over Petal Pink ink. I also love layering up my smaller or more intricate dies.
