Hooray it’s your birthday & I miss youwith Gilded Leafing.

We all are missing someone at the moment and just thinking of my loved one’s makes me want to cry. If you have people you cannot get to (near and far), I feel for you and I am sending you the biggest virtual hug ever!

I am still getting the most out the Fine Art Floral Suite so today I am sharing two more cards using the Art Gallery Bundle as well as the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. Remember it is SALE-a-bration time!! You earn freebies with a purchase of A$90.00 (some items require a purchase of A$180.00) – buy from our new January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue or our current 2020/2021 Annual Catalogue.

I decided to be brave and pull out the Gilded Leafing Embellishment from the Mini Catalogue (page 33) .

Click on the images for a cart/supply list of the products I used to create the card/s – remember you can choose to purchase the whole Fine Art Floral Suite (save 10%), the Art Gallery Bundle (includes the stamp set and die set, save 10%) or purchase products separately (as listed in my cart).

Winner Challenge #300 CASEing the Catalogue ! Yay!

The Many Messages Bundle is definitely a must have for any card maker!

Be careful when you open the Stampin’ Up! jar, the gold leaf pieces have wings!!! They have a life of their own I tell you! The Stampin’ Up! jar cannot contain those pieces it is so packed full of Gold leaf goodness! I transferred the Gold leaf to a bigger container and found it much easier to handle. These are the steps I used to create the Gilded images (from A Touch of Ink, a SALE-a-bration freebie). Afterwards I used my Paper Snips to fussy cut the images.

The stunning A Touch of Ink stamp set is a free SALE-a-bration product with a purchase of A$180.00.

A stamped the images in Versamark on to Basic White cardstock before covering the stamped images with Heat & Stick Powder.

After melting the Heat & Stick powder with my Heat Tool I applied (using a tweezer) Gold Leafing over ALL of the images.

Next I pressed the Gilded Leafing flat over the images with my fingertips.

I waited for the glue to dry (I would give it 10 or 15 minutes to be sure) and then brushed away the excess leafing with a clean dry paintbrush.

So worth it!

Well I couldn’t stop there, I have one more card to share…

Don’t forget to click on the images for a cart/supply list of the products I used to create the card/s – remember you can choose to purchase the whole Fine Art Floral Suite (save 10%), the Art Gallery Bundle (includes the stamp set and die set, save 10%) or purchase products separately (as listed in my cart).

The paper( Fine Art Floral DSP), the embossed background (Textured Paint 3D embossing folder), the sentiment and die cut words (Art Gallery Bundle) are all products from the Fine Art Floral Suite. The tiny butterfly accent comes from the Nature’s Thoughts Die Set.

This card ended up a little ‘messier’ than I hoped for because of my sticky fingers but in the end I thought it gave it a Shabby Chic look. I die cut 2 of the “just want to say” pieces from Basic White cardstock and 1 piece of the floral patterned paper from the DSP and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (because it gives leaves me with a little more ‘wiggle room’ before it dries). I brushed a little of the same glue before adding Gilded Leafing for a distressed look. The sentiment is also finished with Gilded Leafing (follow the steps above) on Vellum cardstock.

I hope I managed enough inspiration for you to try the new Gilded Leafing Embellishment!
