I hope you are doing well! And that you managed to find some time to make (and send a card) this week! If not, it’s only Friday and hopefully you will have some time over the week end. Fingers crossed!
Did you know that the Retirement List for the current catalogue will be available on the 24th of March 2021 already? I know! How did that happen! There are so many sets in the catalogue that I still want to stamp with! What if they are on the list to retire and I miss out on them?! When a product is on the Retirement List, it is only there while stocks last and once it is done, it’s done! Just a head’s up! Add 24 March 2021 to your calendar!
Lucky for us the products in the Mini Catalogue is available until end of June 2021! Today I share two cards that I created with the Welcoming Window Bundle from the Mini. At first I felt a little intimidated by this bundle but I not one to shy away from a challenge, I had to give it a play! I love it! This bundle makes the most beautiful cards! It’s almost like dressing a paper doll, only dressing a window sill instead!

That little flower pot melts my heart!
The Welcoming Window Bundle makes it so easy! To add interest to my Crumb Cake base as well as an extra layer, I stamped a few of the images from the Welcoming Window stamp set with Versamark Ink (you can also use Crumb Cake ink) on to a Crumb Cake layer measuring 13.5cm x 9.5cm. I stamped the flowers with Melon Mambo ink and the leaves with Mossy Meadow ink before die cutting with the coordinating die from the Window Flower Box Dies. The the flower pot was first stamped with Smoky Slate ink and before I added a stripy layer by painting the same clean stamp with Bermuda Bay ink using a Water Painter. I tied a Linen Thread bow around the pot. The cute little ‘Hi there!” sentiment comes from the Many Messages Bundle. Clear gems from the Flowers for Every Season Gems add sparkle to finish off the card.

I started with a Petal Pink notecard size (folded measurement is 12.7cm x 8.9 cm) card base. For the background I used Petal Pink ink to stamp the brick image from the Welcoming Window stamp set. The flower and leave images were stamped with Melon Mambo and Mossy Meadow ink. The vase with Bermuda Bay ink. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the pieces. The ‘Birthday Wishes’ sentiment from the Fancy Phrases stamp set was created with Versamark ink, Heat & Stick powder and Gilded Leafing. The Scallop Lace Trim adds even more softness while the clear gems add sparkle!
Top tip! Choose soft colours like Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron and Smoky Slate to use for card bases! This way sentiments and images stamped on to Basic White will definitely pop!
I cannot wait to play even more with this beautiful bundle! I have a feeling there is still much to do with it!
