This week I used simple masking to create a fun background! The inspiration behind this card comes from this week’s Global Design Project Challenge!

I used washi tape and a few pieces of printer paper to stamp the three of the images from the Positive Thoughts stamp set in the three challenge colours. I used Coastal Cabana for the leave image, Magenta Madness for the butterfly image and Bumble Bee for the flower image.
Tip! I would definitely suggest running the washi tape over your arm before using it as a mask on your cardstock. This allows for minimum tear of your cardstock when you remove the tape. I did manage to put a little tear in mine!
I also used washi tape to mask of around the ‘Thank you for being you’ message from the Many Messages stamp! This stamp is definitely one of my favourites in the January – June Mini Catalogue ( (bundle up with the coordinating Messages Die and save 10%)! The message was heat embossed in White and cut with one of the labels from the Tasteful Labels Dies.
