A little note with the biggest thanks

Hello again from a wet and wild Perth! This time last year we woke up with our neighbour’s trampoline in our backyard! I think they anchored it down because I can still see it in their backyard this morning. I remember when we first arrived in Australia, thirteen or so years ago, this type of weather would keep me up at night. Not anymore! I have grown to love our rainy season!

Today I am sharing a quick card idea that showcases just one of the nine Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper packs that are available at a 15% discount during the month of July 2021! I do think that this design will work with many colours combinations! Purchase your favourite Designer Series Paper packs and see how you go!

Stampin’Up!’s Designer Series Paper (DSP) is the perfect start off point when you are in need of a little mojo! Just add ink and cardstock!
Layer up with DSP for a quick background!

Tip! I find that adding colour with a Sponge Dauber to Stampin’ Up!’s *DISTINKTIVE stamp sets (I used the Plentiful Plants set for this card) creates a realy beautiful result. This also works when your ink pad is a little too juicy. Using a Sponge Daubers also gives you the opportunity to create a colour variation. Here I used Gray Granite ink and a little Cinnamon Cider ink for the pot.

* These stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image.

I would love to see you use your favourite Designer Series Paper with this easy card design! Post on Instagram and tag me – @stampingwithmelodie.

Thank you for stopping by! As always I would like to invite you to join Stampin’Up! as a Demonstrator – especially when you plan on spending more than $169.00 (in Australia and if you do not already have a demosntrator that you support).

Take care!

Melodie X
