Hello! In Perth we are finding ourselves at home again. With no husband to drop off at the station and no dancing at the studio this week I also find myself with more time to spend in my craft room! Staying home means I keep loved ones safe and creating makes me smile, even though I have to wear a mask outside!
Today’s card was inspired by a Global Design Project sketch challenge and it is such a beautiful one…
I used a few items from my ‘leftover’ container to create my entry for this challenge and as always it was a lot of fun scratching through all the pieces!
Tip! I keep my Basic White and Shimmery White scraps seperate from all other scraps, because one day I plan on making my own paper. I have become a horder when it comes to scraps!

I started with a Thick Basic White cardbase (21cm x 14.5cm, scored at 10.5cm) and stamped the background with Balmy Blue ink. The floral die cut is from the Penned Flowers Dies (part of the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle) and was cut from Thick Basic White cardstock. I used a strip of the You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper as a backdrop for my sentiment. The sentiment is from the Many Messages stamp (stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black in) and was die cut with the coordinating Messages Die. Clear epoxy drops finishes off this card.
Tip! I used glue dots to adhere the Basic White die cut piece, this way I added a little dimension to this layer without adding too much bulk to the card.
Before I go… the January – June Mini Catalogue ends at the 30th of June 2021 there is still time grab a bargain! And don’t forget to see if there is something for you on the Clearance Rack while you are there!
If you plan on spending more than $169.00 (in Australia), why not become a demonstrator? I would love to have you on my team!
Thank you for stopping by! I wish you all the best for the week ahead and I hope to catch up with you soon!
