For my March 2022 Artisan Design Team projects, I was assigned the beautiful, floral Dahlia Days Bundle! We just entered Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere but I wanted to end summer with a bang! For these projects I used the colour wheel for my inspiration – Melon Mambo (Pink), Pumpkin Pie (Orange) and Bumble Bee (Yellow) all lie next to each other on the wheel and should work well together. I also included Merry Merlot, Blushing Bride and Old Olive.
Tip! Make two of the backgrounds – one for a card and one to use to decorate the Acetate Card Box.
The cute little Acetate card boxes are perfect for 3″ x 3″ notecards and envelopes. Being the leftover hoarder that I am, I used some of the off cuts from the floral background die to add colour and texture to the very simple 3″ x 3″ cards. I think this makes a cute little gift!
