How great is it that as creators we can finally start making Christmas projects! I know Halloween and Thanksgiving is somewhere in between there, but Christmas is definitely a favourite of mine! For my Artisan Design Team Corporate Post I chose to combine the old with the new for an epic Christmas mashup! My design process normally starts with stamping and die cutting all (or most of the images from my chosen stamps sets/bundles). The colour inspiration came from the Sweet Christmas Designer Series Paper (I added a one or two colours and swapped out Pool Party for Mint Macaron). Once I have all my die cut images in hand, it is time to play!

Tip! To give the Candy Canes from the Sweet Candy Canes stamp set a similar watercolour look as the Christmas Season stamp set, I used my Spritzer to add a little water to the inked stamp.
Tip! It is easy to add a Clear heat embossed layer over coloured ink (in this case Sweet Sorbet ink)when you use the Stamparatus stamp positioning platform. I love the shine and the texture and this way you can ’emboss’ in all the colours of the rainbow!
