With restrictions and lock downs in place (not so much in Western Australia) for the most of us, it isn’t the easiest thing in the world these days to share the good things in life with friends and family. I cannot wait for a time when we will fly, gather and hug again!
There is a new sketch challenge on the Global Design Project website…

and this is my entry for the challenge.
I wanted to stick the the same soft color combination that I used for the pocket-sized Gratitude Journal I created earlier this week. I added Petal Pink watercolor to 3 panels of Shimmery White card stock (measuring 9.5 cm x 4 cm) and then stamped images from the Tasteful Touches stamp set on top. I carefully tore the tops off these panels before popping them onto my card base with Dimensionals. The sentiment was embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The cute butterflies were cut with a die from the Nature’s Thoughts Die Set. I had small Crumb Cake off cuts left over from a previous project and used those to add more interest to my finished card.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask! I love to chat about card making!
This weekend (most probably in the very early afternoon) I will enjoy a beer and drink to all those that make the good things in life better for me! I will also drink to technology and Australia Post!
