Red, White & Green Christmas square card

Hello again!

This week I am starting to work on the cards and gifts for the wonderful teachers (and dance teachers) in our lives. I created clean and simple square cards to go with the cute little square Pizza boxes! Not sure yet what I will put in the boxes, but I will be sure to share once I do! I was thinking I yummy piece of Christmas Rocky Road?! Today I am sharing two quick cards that I created with some leftover Designer Series Paper (DSP) I found in my stash.

My card base measures 12 cm x 12 cm (folded) and the strips measure 5 cm x 10 cm each (with the center panel overlapping the side panels). The sentiment strip measures 3 cm x 11 cm. The pine tree was painted with Bermuda Bay watercolor and then heat embossed in Gold, before die cutting with the coordinating die.

My supply list for this card:

My second card starts off with the same design but different remnants of DSP as well as a leftover piece stamped with the Joyful Holly stamp set. The sentiment was heat embossed in Gold onto Coastal Cabana card stock and cut with one of the dies from the Tasteful Labels Die set.

My supply list for this card:

Next Up I hope to give a slimline card a go – a challenge for me, my creative mind struggles with this one!
