Hello again Stamping Friends!
Before I get to today’s card, I want you to Save the Date!
Stampin’ Up!’s Merry & Bright Online Extravaganza is coming soon! 24 November 2020 is the date!!! 10% off on select Annual Catalogue Products!!! Only ONE day!
Today’s card was inspired by a new sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches! I also wanted to step out of my “traditional Christmas” comfort zone… I tried… not sure I succeeded?

I started of with a Whisper White Thick card base and a bright and cheery Melon Mambo woodgrain background from the Brights Designer Series Paper (DSP) Assortment. For the Stitched circle layer I pulled different Christmas sentiment stamps from my stash and created a collage of sentiments in Smoky Slate ( I stamped off once). This was so much fun and it is also a great way to stretch your sentiments stamps. I stamped using a stamping block but I do think the Stamparatus will work beautifully for this.
The snowman from the Snow Wonder stamp Bundle and trees from the In the Pines Bundle were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green (the tiniest bit of color) using a Blender Pen and layered onto the circle with Dimensionals. I put down a ‘nest’ of Silver thread (bought from Spotlight) before adhering the circle to my card front (also with Dimensionals). I finished off with a multicolored sentiment strip (I inked up with Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo and Highland Heather) and added sparkle with clear epoxy gems and sequins from the Woven Thread Sequin Assortment.

Such a wonderful card with cool festive images – some of my favourite images actually (even though as an Aussie we don’t do snow!). I love how you’ve created a scene with this stamp set. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!
