Welcome to a new week! In my world it is Tuesday afternoon in Perth and I can feel Summer! The dining room table is a mess and instead of tidying up, I am writing this post because I just couldn’t wait to share another Christmas card with you!
This card is my entry for this week’s Global Design Project challenge – this week it is a CASE the Designer challenge! Look at this stunning card by designer Charlet Mallett!
I was inspired by the Pink, White and Black color combination and loved the Black & White text accents!
I used a sentiment from the Snow Wonder stamp set to create a Black & White background (layered on to the woodgrain paper from the Brights Designer Series Paper Assortment).
The cute little trio of trees is from the In the Pines Bundle – I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black after adding a watercolor wash (I used Melon Mambo) to Shimmery White card stock. This is by far my favorite card stock for water coloring. If you plan on adding a lot of water I do suggest our Fluid100 Watercolor Paper instead.
